Today I went over to the Company B office to finalize something for Pet on Duty with new editor Samantha.

Anyway, #3 has a lot of appearances from the old Angel Troupe.

Vanilla talks more than she did in the entire series of GA.

Ranpha makes a short appearance too.

So the fans of the old series should definitely pick this volume up!

I just finished Pet on Duty.

It's a story about a cat-eared boy (no, he doesn't really have cat ears) surrounded by a bunch of hot men.

And they are hot!

My favorite is Koichi, the main character's older brother.

He first appears as a nice older brother, but later gets a little mean and evil (in a funny way).
Maybe that's what I like about him.

I like people who appear nice are but really evil inside.
You call this "hara-guroi" in Japanese.
Literally "black/dark stomach."

I am often called "hara-guroi" by my friends.

The term comes from fish.
The Japanese halfbeak is an expensive fish if you were to eat it.
It's a beautiful fish and very tasty, but the inside of their body is pretty dirty.
They're white fish, but their intestine is black...
That's where the word comes from.

The Japanese halfbeak is "sayori" in Japanese.
Even the name sounds pretty.

I got the chance to take a look at the English version of Delivery Cupid.
It's not completely done yet...I saw the first draft with the lettering in it.

I didn't notice it much when I was translating it, but it's pretty funny.

I always worry when I translate comedy.

I don't have that much of a problem when it's English to Japanese, but Japanese to English is a little difficult for me.

It might be because my sense of humor is more Japanese-ish.

I used to date a guy who knew nothing about Japanese culture, and every time I threw out a "boke," he would think I'm being stupid or paranoid.
Even if I put in the "tsukkomi" myself, he didn't understand.
Yeah, it was sad.

Anyway, Delivery Cupid turned out to be a little ecchi and funny.
Please look for it in July.

Murder Princess #1 is out today.

Although I think it's been in bookstores already.

I finished Murder Princess #2.
This is it for this series, which is too bad.

This series started when the magazine it was serialized in started (Dengeki Teioh), and ended when the magazine went on hiatus.

So volume 2 is a little fatter than volume 1.

I would like to see the anime too someday.

You get to see a soft side, a strong side, and a girly (?) side of Kai.

Please read the Aspire with Ashurum, because it sounds serious but it's also supposed to be...something else.

I spent a loooooot of time on it.

Disgaea 2 #2 is done!

I think it's coming out in July.

Even if you haven't played the game (I haven't), it's enjoyable.
Comedy with boobs.
