X3

I'm trying to decide if I should buy the Japanese version of the DVDs I contributed to.

One I'm wondering about especially is X-Men The Last Stand (renamed to X-Men Final Decision in Japan).

I have X-Men 1 and 2 in English (I bought them to research when I was working on 3), so naturally I want to finish off the series in English if I am going to.

Hmmm...

Should I just get both?
But I don't like the cover in Japanese...

It looks like this:

Also, I have a question if anyone who reads my blog has the X-Men 3 DVD.
Is there a trivia commentary track in there?
(It's the content I translated to Japanese).
I can't tell from the Amazon pages if it's really in there or not.
I hope it's not a feature for the special editions.

I think it was my favorite one of the series (X3). Even though the story is more subtle in the movie, I remember how the comics moved me so much 20+ years ago. My friends and I would talk about the meaning of Jean Grey/Phoenix in the schoolyard...we thought she might be a god.

I only saw it once, and it was on a tiny screen, so I don't remember much of the story.
(Sad, isn't it?)
I watched it for reference, but most of the commentary talked about the comics.
Golden Age, Silver Age, etc.
And a BUNCH of artist and writer names!!
I didn't know any of them, so I looked all of them up.

Moo

You can rent the Japanese version from Video Japan if they have it. You can come down and rent it when you come for karaoke again. ^_~

I hoped you watched it past the end of the credits....
It is funny how we know the finer details of the things (toys, comics, etc.) that were so meaningful to us when we were kids.
Now it is work, but I try to always appreciate the fact that I am worrying about the correct spelling of some made-up planet's name or hero's special move when other people's work is all about Interest Rates, Exchange Rates and length of suit cuffs.

I want to go karaoke again!
Someone gave me a CD of a bunch of anime songs, so we can have another anime day.

>>John
Yes, I did watch past the credits.
I had the script (translated) with me when I watched it, so I was reading that while I watched the clip.
