After registration, we went to the Guest of Honor Fusanosuke Inariya panel.
I don't remember much about the panel...
Next was the SuBLime panel.
They're going to be releasing a lot of titles.
I then went to the Fusanosuke Inariya autograph session. Actually, I didn't get anything signed. I was just keeping my friend company. Inariya-sensei signed her name like she was signing her name on legal documents, so I found that funny. She also drew a cat, since she loves cats.
I didn't do much for the rest of the day... I went to support my friend's friends' panel for Teahouse. (NSFW so no link...) But the room they had was small and had way more people in line for it. So we couldn't get in.
At night, I was kindly invited to dinner by Deb Aoki and T from Yen Press. It was a group of artists, industry, freelancers, and press. It was a lot of fun!
Pictured is the hand of editor H from Viz.
I went to the Bishonen Auction with some people, but after the third act I got bored and went to go watch some guys play Street Fighter instead. Honestly, this was more fun.
My semi-annual trip to NorCal! Although this is my third trip in 2011 because I came an extra time when I accompanied my Japanese clients to go to Pixar.
I'll be going to Yaoi Con tomorrow (if I can buy the ticket) for work.
Today I mostly stayed in (at my wonderful friend F's place) and worked on a deadline. I can't announce it yet, but when it comes out I'll post about it. Maybe...Honestly, I really don't want my name associated with this project...
And as always, just as I'm away on a business trip, I get a couple of emails with more potential work. Hopefully something will come out of it.
